Set in room 3310 of the Department of Computer Science at UFMG, the group’s physical space provides a highly collaborative environment for its members. The lab has a large work area with workstations and computers, as well as a meeting room, breakroom and a state-of-the-art computer infrastructure, with powerful servers, large storage space, GPU cards and multiple surveillance cameras that allow the execution of large-scale experiments.
The powerful infrastructure of the lab offers its members processing resources, such as access to Linux and Windows VM’s with multiple configurations or Linux hosts with GPUs; storage for personal use and shared datasets; virtualization through a personal server that provides full access to the user, with flexible configurations and different operational systems. Its members also have access to services such as website, private repository, project manager and Orchestra, as well as e-mail support through a ticket system.
Sense also has the 3003 support room, with a work area that includes almost 10 researchers and a developer dedicated exclusively to the infrastructure of the group.
